About the event

While many individuals who commit crimes related to child sexual exploitation materials (CSEM) have pedophilia or hebephilia as their primary sexual arousal, some men find themselves in possession and/or seeking out images what are outside of their primary interest. They may report significant disgust at their choices, which are uncharacteristic and clinically not rooted in repetitive deviant choices. Sex offense treatment providers are not always versed or experienced in working with pornography addiction as the primary clinical concern.

This training, presented by Shaaron Boyles, LCSW, CSAT, will serve as a primer for individuals who are interested in learning more about treating this population. Issues related to working with adults and juveniles will be addressed.
