Now Hiring: Foundation

Foundation is a small counseling agency in south Asheville, NC specializing in court ordered treatment. We have been providing high quality individual and group therapy in the same location for over 20 years. We have a good reputation and stable referral sources. We provide structured treatment for offenders. We have a contract with United States Probation for the Western District and strong relationships with several county probation offices. Foundation is a cash-based practice that does not participate in insurance billing. This means we are not burdened by the documentation requirements of Medicaid and other payers.

Foundation is ready to add a part-time therapist to our clinical team. We have an immediate need for a therapist to provide individual and group therapy.

Candidates must be licensed to practice mental healthcare in North Carolina (LCSW, LMFT or LCMHC).

Dual license is preferred but not required. Previous experience with non- voluntary clientele is helpful but not required. We offer day time and evening services and can be flexible with work hours. The position would begin around 15 hours a week and could increase if desired. We pay $45 an hour for individual therapy and $50 an hour for group therapy. We pay for membership in a specific professional organization and we pay for some continuing education.

If you are interested, we would love to talk with you about the opportunity.
