Associate Member

Professionals with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent who engage in treatment and/or assessment of sexual offenders, preferably with a NCAMTSO clinical member; who have worked with individuals who have committed sexual harm for at least 2000 hours (1 year full time); and who have completed 200 hours of sexual offense specific training. The 2000 hours of experience may be acquired over the course of more than one year as necessary;

OR

Professionals with Master’s degree or above who do not yet meet the full education, training, and/or supervision requirements of clinical status

Affiliate Member

Other professionals not directly providing treatment and/or assessment of sexual offenders, such as social workers in Child Protective Services programs, Juvenile Court Counselors, Adult Probation and Parole Officers, clinicians working primarily with victims/survivors of sexual abuse, clergy, or other interested individuals involved in sexual offense treatment and management in the community.
